The cottage, built in 1620, exudes charm with its old features and cozy atmosphere. the top-floor bedroom was spacious and comfortable, especially with the sitting area by the window offering a lovely view. the bathroom was simple yet pleasant, and the welcoming basket with a history book added a nice touch. The location of Hook's House is excellent, within walking distance to the beach, shops, cafes, and attractions like the cliff tram and the castle. the convenience of being able to explore the area on foot was a major highlight for me. the steep streets may require a bit of effort, but the panoramic views make it worthwhile. Overall, Hook's House offers a good value proposition with its quaint charm and prime location. It's a wonderful choice for a relaxing getaway in Scarborough.
